Juliana Kramer, LCSW-S
Hello! I’m Juliana, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with nearly twenty years of experience. I earned my MSW in Clinical Global Practice from Boston College and began my career in Vietnam, supporting local social workers addressing trauma from child trafficking. Since then, I’ve focused on serving under-represented communities, shaping a practice rooted in multiculturalism, social justice, and trauma-informed care.
I work with adults and families navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, caregiver stress, severe mental illness, immigration concerns, grief, and loss. I’m LGBTQ-aligned, committed to affirming and centering LGBTQ+ communities, and passionate about neurodiversity-affirming care. As someone with ADHD, I value therapy that honors the unique ways each brain and nervous system works.

Therapeutic Approach
My approach is curious, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe healing begins within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard and understood.
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is my primary modality, supporting clients in processing traumatic events. I also integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment theory, and solution-oriented approaches as needed. This integrative style helps clients access resilience, develop insight, and gain practical tools for daily life.
Through our work together, clients often experience relief from distressing symptoms, stronger coping abilities, greater self-acceptance, improved relationships, and the ability to live more fully in line with their values.
Specialization
I work with adults whose challenges often connect to early experiences, attachment wounds, or complex trauma. Many people seek therapy when they feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, relationship struggles, emotional disconnection, or self-sabotaging behaviors. Some have formal diagnoses such as PTSD, depression, or anxiety, while others simply know that life feels overwhelming and they are ready for change.
Major life transitions and stress can bring old wounds to the surface, and therapy provides a space to process and heal. My role is to help clients make sense of their experiences, establish safety and stability, and rebuild trust in themselves. Together, we focus on strengths, values, and practical tools to support integration of the past into the present, fostering clarity, resilience, and growth.
