EMDRIA Certified Therapist

Being an EMDRIA Certified Therapist means I have completed advanced training and more than 20 hours of consultation with senior EMDR clinicians, including Jennifer Savage, LPC (Beyond Healing Institute, Notice That Podcast) and Sadie Smith, LMFT (Breakout Healing). I have also received specialized training with Dr. Ignacio Jarero in EMDR protocols for early intervention and ongoing traumatic stress. Certification through EMDRIA requires not only advanced supervised practice but also ongoing continuing education in EMDR, which ensures I remain current with best practices. This matters because it allows me to provide the highest quality care to my clients throughout Texas.

At the same time, EMDR is not the only therapeutic lens I use—I often integrate insights from neurobiology, attachment theory, and solution-oriented approaches. Ultimately, the method we choose will depend on what best supports each client’s unique needs.
